Das Leben als Reise ist keine neue Allegorie, aber die Landschaften von Izzy Burton machen das Ganze zu einem sehr schönen Beispiel derselben.
Das darübergesprochene Gedicht ist von Rachel Cladingbowl, aber man muss da nicht unbedingt zuhören, um die Bilder zu genießen :-)

Die superhübsche kleine Liebeserklärung eines Matrosen (oder eher Seemanns?) an das Meer.
Schön in Worte und Bilder gefasst von Arthur Chaumay und Simon Duong Van Huyen.
Besonders gefällt mir ja die Vorstellung von Wellen als Personen, und dass die Kamera manchmal auf sehr natürliche Weise ein bisschen herumwackelt.

Ein New Yorker U-Bahn-Gedicht von Max Stossel, verfilmt von Matthew Freidell. Die Art, wie Teile des Gedichts in die U-Bahn-Umgebung einbezogen werden, ist wirklich clever.

I wrote this as I waited for the F train at West 4th on a day where it just WASN’T coming. It was a particularly hot and sweaty day and as the station filled up it got hotter and sweatier. Eventually I realized we were 250 people staring into a black tunnel and I started trying to make eye contact with people.

Love & life’s greatest opportunities are hiding right in front of our faces… and breathing hot, disgusting air down our necks.

Ein Motionpoem von Alicia Reece für das Gedicht »Western Civilization« von Peter Jay Shippy.
Das ist sehr entspannend anzuschauen, glücklicherweise muss man sich gar nicht auf das Gedicht selbst konzentrieren, sondern kann sich auch einfach von der Erzählerin und den Bildern einlullen lassen.
